Historically, only a small number of wealthy individuals owned a majority of the world finances, but in the new world anyone with a good idea and guts can make it happen. Startups disrupt this. The good guys and gals that exit go onto to continue to distribute their wealth. Note to Atlassian founders - don't forget this.

When you first venture into your own startup, you tend to spend little time thinking about the real cost of what you’re doing. If you did, most people may never get a new venture off the ground. You should have a laser- guided focus on building a great product or service and spending as much time as you can with your customers learning about their problems.

They disrupt not only the large software players but also the many smaller players as well, mobile apps, and startups. They take processes which were owned by a number of products, or that a number of products did not do well, and change the game.

Australian startup Bugwolf a top 3 finalist at the world's largest tech startup conference - Web Summit

What began four weeks ago when Bugwolf submitted an application to Web Summit culminated in pitching to more than 4000 people in the Audi PITCH finals on November 5th and being broadcasted live via a CNBC and Web Summit stream to tens of thousands of people around the world. To make it all the way from Melbourne to the finals in this important event is a great honour. What began with 1,300 startups was reduced to 400 then 40 and then down to 2 groups of 3 - the top 3 in the Beta and Alpha categories.

The back story to getting selected for Web Summit in Dublin. To provide a back story, almost four weeks ago Suzie (drives marketing operations) sent through a Slack message and said check this out. It was a link to Web Summit. We submitted our details and got selected for a call. I pitched by phone a few times and got selected for Beta. We then discovered Audi Pitch and applied.

Bugwolf is an Australian early stage startup success story. We are cash flow positive and our revenue is growing 300% YoY.

We have a big problem in Australia. Startups build their MVP, test the market, and then race off to the US to raise cash to make something of it. And if you can make it in the US then you can make it anywhere and cracking this market is a big deal. We plan on being there soon.
